Who are the Parish Providers? Our former name was the “Altar and Rosary Society”; we became the St. Mary Parish Providers in 2000, taking on a more modern and broader role to “Be the Church” by actively living out our Christian faith through actions of service.
Did you know all Parishioners are members of St. Mary Parish Providers?
Yes-All parishioners are automatically added to a Group (A, B, C, D, E, F) when individuals or families register to join the St. Mary Parish.
What’s my role as a Parish Providers Member?
Serving others -Groups (A –F) are called upon to serve or provide a dessert for a funeral luncheons or other parish events.
Volunteering-at the fall festival is a great way to build church community it encourages the whole family to work together and still enjoy entertainment and great food!
Annual Dues -provides the breaking bread books, hosts, wine, candles and other liturgical items. Enclosed in the Fall Festival letter is a return envelope for the annual dues.
What kind of work do the Parish Providers do for the Church?
Celebrating - priestly anniversaries, welcoming reassigned and outgoing priests.
Hosting –special receptions for the O.C.I.A. candidates and the graduating seniors.
Social aspects - doughnut Sundays, encouraging interaction with church members.
Providing - pies and desserts for the K.C.’s Fish Fry, fall festival and other events.
How do the Parish providers contribute to the church mission?
Supporting - Totus Tuus, Summer Catholic Youth program for grades 1 st -12 th
Purchasing - faith gifts for the students of first Holy Communion, Confirmation, Bible study and graduating seniors, etc.
Provided funds - for live streaming equipment which allows us to connect, with our community!
